DeMarco Murray briefly forgot about the Cowboys' 37-36 loss to the Green Bay Packers as he interacted with children at the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas.

"You think about yesterday and you are mad about that, and then as soon as you step here, you totally forget about it," the running back said. "It's the last thing that crosses your mind. Just knowing what these kids are going through on a daily basis, how much fight they have, just makes you look up to them."

Santa Claus isn't the only celebrity who brings holiday cheer. On Monday, the Cowboys made their annual visits to four local children's hospitals to spend time with patients who are hospital-bound during the holidays.

The players signed autographs and posed for pictures with the kids for more than an hour.

"This day belongs to them, and you should be excited about that," said Dez Bryant, who was at Cook Children's Medical Center in Fort Worth. "It eases up a little bit of the pain. I know it did for me."

Many players, including Murray, would not talk about football Monday morning.

"I'm just focused on being here with the kids and trying to help them out as much as I can," Murray said.
