Tonight’s temperature at kickoff was eight degrees – the coldest regular season game in Cowboys history and the second-coldest overall game. Dallas owns a 2-3 regular season record in games of 20°-or-colder.

Dez Bryant had a touchdown catch tonight, finishing with two catches for 12 yards. His scoring grab gave him 10 for the season – the second time in his career he reached 10 touchdowns (12 in 2012) and the 17th time a Dallas Cowboy had 10-or-more receiving scores in a season. Bryant is also the fourth Cowboy to do it multiple times (Bob Hayes – 5, Terrell Owens – 3 and Frank Clarke – 2).

Tyler Clutts made his Cowboys debut tonight playing on special teams and at full back. He returned a pooch punt 12 yards in the second quarter.

Chris Jones had one punt downed inside the 20-yard line which gave him 28 for the season to move into a tie with Mike Saxon (1986) and Mat McBriar (2005) for third in a season in team history.

DeMarco Murray rushed 18 times for 146 yards (8.1). Tonight marked Murray’s sixth career 100-yard game, and his 146 yards were good for third in his career:

Murray’s 8.1-yard average tonight was the second-highest of his career (minimum 10 carries). His high is 10.1 (25 for 253), against St. Louis (10/23/11).

Murray’s 18 rushes upped his career rushing carries to 485 and moved him past Troy Hambrick (473) for 13th in club history.

Murray’s 146 rushing yards gave him 2,403 for his career and allowed him to pass Roger Staubach (2,264) for 11th in team history.

Included in Murray’s 146 yards tonight were 99 in the first half. It was the 21st time in club history a Cowboys rusher ran for over 90 yards in the first half and it was the third time in Murray’s career he accomplished the feat. Tony Romo completed 11-of-20 passes (55.0%) for 104 yards and three touchdowns tonight.

Romo now has 3,700 career attempts and tied Bobby Layne (3,700) for 58th in NFL history.

Romo’s three touchdown tosses tonight gave him at least one in each of the previous 26 games and extend his club record for consecutive games with a touchdown pass.

Romo’s three touchdown passes tonight gave him 64 career multiple-touchdown games to improve his club-high and allow him to place fifth in the NFL since becoming a starter in 2006:

Jason Witten appeared in his 168th straight game tonight. His 168 consecutive games played ties Cornell Green (1962-74) for third in team history. Dale Hellestrae (176, 1990-2000) and Bob Lilly (196, 1961-74) hold the top-two spots.

With his one catch for a 10-yard touchdown, Witten has now caught at least one pass in 84 straight games and trails only Michael Irvin (117 from 1990-98) for the team record. Witten’s last game without a reception was at the N.Y. Giants (11/2/08).

Witten’s touchdown catch tonight gave him 51 for his career to break a tie Ben Coates and tie Vernon Davis eighth in NFL tight end history. It also broke a tie with Frank Clarke for fourth in Cowboys history.
