Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant appears to be the most serious of the team's injuries from Sunday's 36-31 season opening victory against the New York Giants.
Bryant sprained his left foot in the fourth quarter. He returned to the game and has not been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Kansas City Chiefs. He told reporters on Sunday night that he plans to play against the Chiefs.
The Cowboys will have a better feel for his status, if he can practice this week. Running back DeMarco Murray missed six games last season with a sprained foot.
Running back Lance Dunbar missed the season opener against the Giants because of a sprained foot he suffered in a preseason game against the Cardinals Aug. 16.
Quarterback Tony Romo was diagnosed with bruised ribs after X-rays on Monday came back negative.
Cornerback Morris Claiborne will wear a harness against the Chiefs to protect his dislocated shoulder.
