Eric Frampton didn't see Phillip Adams' fair catch. He wishes he had.

"I did not see the fair catch," Frampton said. "It was unfortunate, because he was hurt [on the play], and I don’t intend to hurt anybody, especially in a preseason game, and I just didn’t see the fair catch. It must have been early, and I was focused on the corner who was in front of me and when I got down there I still didn’t see it and I just kind of took my shot. I regret it because it cost the team."

Frampton cost the Cowboys 15 yards, but it didn't cost them points. The Raiders went three and out on the drive.

But iit didn't help Frampton's cause as he attempts to make the roster.

He led the team in special teams tackles last year despite not being signed until Sept. 25. He has 113 career special teams tackles, including his 21 last year.
