The Cowboys practiced at AT&T Stadium on Wednesday, in part because of wet fields at Valley Ranch and a chance to pump in crowd noise.
Coach Jason Garrett said the Cowboys, headed for a game indoors in New Orleans on Sunday night, have handled crowd noise “ok.”
“One of the many great things about this stadium is the crowd noise is fantastic, and the sound system is really good, and it’s really deafening and very difficult to practice,” he said. “So hopefully that will help our preparation. But when you are playing in these away stadiums, these domed stadiums, where the fans are really into the ballgame, that can be a challenging situation. But you have to try to embrace that challenge. There are some logistical things that you have to handle well with communication. Hopefully we will get that done this week.”
The Saints are 4-0 at the Superdome this year. The Cowboys are 1-3 on the road, including a loss at one domed stadium, Ford Field in Detroit.
