The Dallas Cowboys are one step closer to moving their practice facilities from Irving to Frisco.
The team is waiting on city leaders to approve the deal at a special council meeting on Monday night.
Owner Jerry Jones declined to elaborate on the team's impending to decision to leave their home Valley Ranch, where they have been since 1983, until Frisco gives final approval of the deal.
"The protocol here is for the council to address it, the leaders there, evaluate it and make their decision and we will go from there," Jones said. "That's going to happen sooner later. We are moving toward a time when on Monday they will all review it."
