Tony Romo didn't talk to the local media at Valley Ranch on Wednesday, but he told the Denver media in a conference call that a change to his throwing motion has made a big difference in his game this year.
"Well, I think I'm doing a couple of things different, a couple of things I worked on this offseason that have allowed certain things in different situations to be a little bit easier," Romo said when asked about the difference in his game from last year to this year. "I found something pretty important, I think, in the throwing motion that's allowed me to throw from a little bit different position. That's calmed certain things down. I think a lot of things go into play. We're getting good offensive line play. A lot of different things come into play with that stuff."
Romo is the league's fourth-rated passer with a 105.0 rating. He has completed 110 of 152 passes for 1,015 yards with eight touchdowns and an interception.
This time last year, Romo had completed 101 of 151 passes for 1,148 yards with five touchdowns and eight interceptions with a rating of 78.5.
The Cowboys, though, have the same 2-2 record through four games that they had last season.
