Tony Romo threw two interceptions in the final 2:46 Sunday, which played a part in the Cowboys blowing a 23-point halftime lead in a 37-36 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

“We didn’t do the things we needed to well to win the game,” Romo said. “No one cares how the game went. They just care: Did you win or lose? We lost. And I threw an interception at the end. That’s what it is. No one cares how it happened. That’s the ultimate thing that it comes down to: Did you win or did you lose? How did it end? No one feels sorry for you. For us, we’ve got to get back. We’ve got to be better. I’ve got to be better. And we will.”

Romo and the Cowboys were cruising along toward a blowout. He completed 16 of 27 passes for 250 yards, a touchdown and a 102.4 passer rating in the first half as the Cowboys built a 26-3 halftime lead.

All was good until the final 2:46 when Sam Shields and then Tramon Williams had picks of Romo. The first led to the Packers' go-ahead touchdown. The second ended any hope of a Cowboys' comeback.

Romo finished 29-of-48 for 358 yards with two touchdowns, two interceptions and an 80.0 passer rating.

“We just felt like we were going to have to put points on the board and maximize our opportunities,” Romo said. “We tried to do that throughout the football game. I tried to be aggressive throughout. It’s disappointing, obviously, when it ends like this.”
