It wasn't just the searing temperatures that were overheated at Cowboys mini camp on Tuesday. It was defensive tackle Tyrone Crawford was involved in fight with center Travis Frederick during team drills because he felt disrespected.
"It’s a man’s game," Crawford said. "I felt disrespected. With me coming off my injury, everybody was trying to disrespect me. He didn’t come too hard at all. It was just the way he grabbed me by my head. I was really upset."
Several punches were thrown and a few other teammates got involved but the incident was over as quickly as it started with no hard feelings.
"Oh yeah. We’re friends," Crawford said.
