Terrance Williams has a simple explanation for the two passes he dropped against the Vikings.
“It’s just the same old trying to make a move before I caught the ball,” he said. “It’s just being so worried about trying to just make a move, that I didn’t look the ball in.”
Williams had two of the eight passes dropped by the Cowboys last week.
He said it’s not his habit to try to make a move before catching the ball.
“No, I just got to get better at that,” he said.
Williams, the Cowboys’ third-round pick in April out of Baylor, is fourth on the team in receptions. He’s caught 28 passes for 477 yards and four touchdowns. His 17.0 yards per catch leads the team.
“There’s more stuff I can get better at,” he said. “That’s my goal in practice. I go into practice and meetings feeling like I can find ways to help this offense out, and I’m pretty sure if I keep playing like I’m playing. I can be a part of something special.”
