Stadium atmosphere? *Merge*

If anyone who was in attendance tonight can inform us on how the atmosphere in the new stadium compares to that of Texas stadium...I know it may be a little early to get feedback from those who were at the game, but I will take a stab at it.

I would also be really interested in hearing how loud it was, even if it was just a preseason game. It obviously won't compare to the Giants opening home game, but I wonder how sound resonates through the stadium.

From a TV perspective: During the anthem, the crowd sounded loud, like maybe there was an echo in the place, but once the game started, it seemed pretty quiet to me. I'm sure that will change come opening night against the Giants. Remember that Philly game on MNF last year? The crowd noise was incredible. With a dome and 80,000+ fans, it should be even wilder this time around.

I was there, and honestly, it wasn't very loud at all, except for the times when we scored. I think some of that had to do with the fact that people were busy checking out the new stadium, looking around, watching the giant hd tv, etc.. For me, I could barely talk half way through the first quarter from yelling.

I think once the regular season starts, it will be very loud in there. Sound does seem to bounce around in there, and with 80+thousand, it won't be fun for the visiting team.

For those who where at the game how was the crowed? It did not seem very loud at all watching it on tv and Troy and Joe never mentioned it that I can remember.
