They need to play the Imperial March music from the Star Wars movies when the players come out or when Jerry is out there. :laugh1:

That kind of tag only works if you have a dominating defense and a loud crowd.

It has potential.

If the Cowboys were 2-0 at home, it would really have potential.

Speaking of the crowd, they were awfully loud when Carolina was on offense last night. Now if we could only get them to quiet down when our own offense is on the field. Some blame the John Phillips 4th down goal line penalty on the home crowd noise. When will we learn?

The crowd is loud. Too bad it is when the Cowboys offense has the ball in goal line situations.

The whole evil empire thing kinda works with Jerry's partnership with the Yankees and the "Embrace the Hatred" motto.

It would be cool if "Death Star" caught on, but I don't know if it can overtake "Jerry World." It seems that most TV commentators use that one.

Gordon Keith coined that on the D&M show that is on mornings on the Ticket.

FYI - it is NOT intended as a complement. It's actually intended as an insult to Jerry. Suggesting he is the evil emperor and the stadium is his ugly attempt at world domination.

I don't like it as a nickname.

Then again, I HATE that we try to give everything a nickname.

I like the actual name perfectly well: Cowboys' Stadium.

Unintentional compliment imo.

Double-FYI - I'm pretty sure that's all meant tongue-in-cheek.

I couldn't really tell from the tv last night but I guarantee you it was not that way during the home opener against the Giants. The crowd was VERY loud on defense and was quiet when our offense was ready to snap the ball, even when we were deep in the red zone.
