90 ft. It will be fine but if not it can still go another 10 or so feet up

be nice.
I honestly think the sheer size of the video board leads some to think it is awfully low. 90 feet is the equivalent of a 9 story building in height. You have to convince me a human being can punt a football to the top of a 9 story building before I am going to ever buy that someone can hit that thing.

Except that the blue, star-studded wall is as timeless and familiar as the hole in the roof and the star at midfield. Odd that Jerry and the architects wouldn't incorporate it.
If you look at the concept videos on DC.com they are. It's simply not completed yet and those are cosmetic additions that can still be added before the game. They probably will add them after the stupid soccer [strike]abortion[/strike] game they are going to play there.

I think they've taken the renderings down.

I just checked stadium.dallascowboys.com and all they have are recent pics.

That's too bad. I think I may have a couple of still saved on my laptop. I'll try and get it when the kids go to bed.

Most of the concrete still has coverings that are Cowboys related going over them. The stadium is functional but in no way completed yet.

Awesome! You have any specifics?

Hmm. The blue wall is missing from the concept art, so maybe I have no right to be surprised.

The best I can do is this fly through video. In it you will see that there are some added elements obviously still missing.

Especially look at the part towards the end with Jerry. You will see some blue with stars on the areas now that are concrete facades. It isn't the same as the stars and blue at Texas Stadium, but it is not bare concrete either.

I've heard that the exterior videoscreens have been nixed. True?

It really would not surprise me because they would only work well at night. During the day you'd have way too much glare.

As I look at those pictures again one thing keeps coming to my mind. How many security guards would it take to get me out of the stadium once the game was over?

Sucks for the shopping cart guys at Walmart.

After the modifications, Soldier field doesn't even look like Soldier field to me anymore.

Looks like they just slapped an extra layer of seating on top of it.

All of the Bears fans I know hate what they did to Soldier field. It looks like a spaceship from the outside.

As do most Skins Fans w/ FedEx

The new stadium is a georgous piece of architecture, ... one of a kind! State of the art!

But I guess I'm just too old-fashioned, I like football played outdoors on grass, dirt and mud, .. with sunshine and rain pouring down, and the wind playing a part as well.

This will only add to the glitzy, pretty boy reputation of the Cowboys here is Squeeler land.

Especially if we continue with our post-season blues.

I would rather win in the Cotton Bowl, than to continue to lose in the nicest stadium in the NFL.

Last season really hurt my heart, ... we need to win.
