So Stanback is slower than Hurd, and Crayton? I think its pretty safe to assume that only Terry Glenn is definitely faster than Stanback, and he is neck and neck with Austin and Owens.

oh and by the way, will you please s t ***?

We drafted a QB..to learn how to play WR...who is now our slowest WR.

When we needed help at WR, CB, and NT.

Facts.

This statement clearly illustrates how you skew arguments to fit your own conclusions.

There are plenty of good WR's who make the transition from QB to WR. Hines Ward, Patrick Crayton, etc. For you to use that as a negative, smells of your agenda. I could understand if we had used a first round pick on a QB-to-WR conversion... but we only used a 4th round pick on him. (not to mention that we had another 4th round pick that looks very good in Doug Free.)

Then, you really show your intent by claiming that Stanback is our slowest WR. He isn't and everyone knows it. Crayton is, by all accounts, very slow for a WR. He has no other faults. He runs good routes, has good hands, is smart, and loves to play. The only thing keeping him locked in as a 2nd/3rd WR is his speed.

Now, we have Stanback, who is known for his speed. He was a sprinter in college and Jeff Ireland, who is a professional personnel director in the NFL gushed over Stanback's speed and elusiveness. We've all seen articles written about how fast Isaiah is and how well he cuts at full speed.

So, we know you've heard how slow Crayton is. We also know you're heard how fast Stanback is... yet you still are ****** ** enough to sit there and say Stanback is our slowest WR?

Give me a break. You know it but won't admit it. Why do people so ealily give up their honor online? Why do people do things on a forum that they'd never do in person? You wouldn't sit in a group of people and try to pass off Stanback as the slowest WR on the team. It's a lie and you know it... yet losing your honor online is just fine with you.

I don't understand it.

I have always hated the way Art moderates extremeskins... but it sure would be nice to see a moderater go "Art" on you and make you write a post saying that Stanback isn't our slowest WR... or get banned.

Stanback 4.55

He's one of our slowest WR's.
He ran an actual timed 40 of 4.4 as a HS Senior.

He then spent time in football and track training programs at Washington where he never ran a timed 40 yard dash per his own admission.

Yet you think he got slower as he matured and had better training.

Ridiculous.

Let's just say that Stanback did in fact run a 4.55 (He didn't); that's still faster than Anquan Boldin's 4.71 at the combine.

So not only is Isaiah Stanback bigger than Boldin, but he is faster and was drafted 2 rounds later.

Matt Jones who is another QB turned WR, ran a 4.4, which is .11 seconds faster than Stanbacks "reported" time. Yet, you couldn't move your hand from the keyboard to the mouse faster than that. Incidently, Matt Jones was drafted in the 1st while Standback was in the 4th.

I think I will wait till I see him on the field again before I try to send him packing.

Less accurate than a made up college time?

Seriously, though, none of these times are accurate. Don't trust anything unless it's administered by pro scouts either at the Combine or at the player's pro day.
Bingo!

If eduncan wants to continue calling Stanback slow, he'll have to call his boy Reeves slow. Their times at track meets are basically the same.

Pick an agenda to stick with; you can't keep both. They literally cancel themselves out.
