What are your opinions on these seats? I can understand the business aspect of them to generate revenue, but really? How many people would pay to stand at a game?[/quote]

The goofy Aggies have been doing it for years and years now!!!

Yeah then we just haaaaaaaaad to copy that tradition.

They stand through timeouts and whatnot though. We at least get those breaks haha. Cept for that Texas game.

I barely was able to get into that game, and ended up standing behind three rows of people. Talk about Party Passes.

The last football game I was at, I had good seats and stood for 80% of the time anyways.

Some of you need to realize the whole concept of the party passes. It is not designed just to be a ticket to see the game. It is a inexpensive ticket to be part of the gameday experience and atmosphere. I think they envision most of the people moving around from the decks to the outside area probably seeing most of the game on the massive screens. There will be bands playing outside in the plaza areas and a huge screen to watch the game. During critical times in the game, I'm sure those decks will be crammed with drunk, screaming fans but for the most part they will be moving inside and outside, watching on the screens, watching the bands, and buying stuff at the concessions. We also need to find out if you can bring portable chairs and set them up in the plaza areas.

My main point is that it isn't really a ticket to the game. Its a ticket to the gameday experience at the best stadium in the league. If I lived anywhere close and was short on funds, I'd go every game.
