I think it'd be advantageous if the OL comes to terms with the fact that they sucked last week vs. the Giants and perform much better in DC. Elliott can only achieve what his blockers permit him to. The Commanders are likely to mount a lesser challenge for our OL this week to succeed in giving Ezekiel room to run to daylight. Let's just hope our OL will be pissed enough with their performance last week to fully vindicate themselves. Alfred Morris will get his chances again this time in DC and I'm confident he'll do fine as well. I think he has a bone to pick with the Commanders.

How often does an elite running back need time to acclimate to the NFL? Usually those guys are stars from the beginning if they are any good.

Overall, there should be little excuse in my mind to not have a successful day running the football against Washington.

A line of Ziggy Hood, Kedric Gholston and Chris Baker backed by Kerrigan, Will Compton, Mason Foster and Preston Smith should be easier to handle than the Giants.

If we struggle again, then you have to start pointing the finger at the OL and also the blocking scheme.
Which blocking scheme?

We run them all.

That is part of the problem. Pollack is hardly Callahan who can flop between the man and zone with a level of success. Elliott also needs exposure, which one game in Seattle does not do. Personally, this line is built more for zone than man. Frederick got whipped far too much.

So in one breath you say our scheme is a problem...when I point out we run multiple schemes...you say it's the coaching of all the different schemes.

Must be nice to feel comfortable saying anything.

Morris has something to prove and the Skins have s porous run defense. So, run Morris down their throats. If it starts to work...be sure Garrett will stop doing it and throw the ball. He is such a genius!!
