1 catch from Street in his two starts isnt going to cut it. I dont know what his deal is but he not producing

Do you think we should start Butler outside next. He looked lost in the Eagles but that was with only 1 week to learn the playbook

What's the point? Dunbar and Witten are Weeds best friends now. We will make Rob Ryan look like a genius next week!

Not really the receivers fault when Weeden wont even look to the sidelines.

That said, Street is terrible and should have never even been drafted. His time is over.

No. It's the receivers fault when they get no separation and force Weeden to check down.

Butler has been targeted more than Street and has yet to catch a pass. You have to give the receivers a chance to make a play..........

Wait, Im confused. The Garrett Lovers have been telling us for the past 4 years that Garrett has been doing a tremendous job of building this roster and now we have our #1 WR go down and we dont have anybody else on this team that can get open and catch a ball? What am I missing?

Like I said in another thread I refuse to believe he wasn't open one time on a slant or an out or a dig. I can't buy it. I blame that squarely on that dumb QB we have refusing to throw the ball down the field. That dude doesn't trust his eyes

Here he is in the same line of vision as the intended receiver, which can indicate shared read. Weeden went short.

Also, #44 is not offsides. That's just what it'd look like if humans had a reaction time of 0.01 seconds rather than 0.15+.

Only if he can run his routes shorter than 8 yards.

What I don't get is Weeden was actually decent hitting the 9 route in Cleveland to Josh Gordon. I'm not sure why they aren't trying it with Williams. If he can hit 1 of those early in a game it would change the complexion in an instant.

Oy.You're missing that we're also missing our QB. You're also missing that it can be true that Garrett has done a great job building the roster AND that we still have a couple thin units, of which WR is one. These things can be true at the same time. But you're not really looking for an answer to your questions; you've already got all the answers.

If thats street, he's open when he makes his cut, but Weeden would have to had anticipated the throw. If that balls out before he comes out of his break its an easy catch. It looks to me like he was eyeing Dunbar the entire time.
