Dallas had the 3rd best drive-starting field position in the league in 2017.It's been like this for years
Our offenses since 2016 have had to overcome horrible starting field position from poor special teams, slow pace of play, bad scheme due to having a poor OC, least amount of penalties called against the other team, AND towards the bottom in takeaways every year.
Dallas has started two drives inside their own 10...and scored TDs both times.Adam doesn’t post here anymore, so we have to bring Adam here.

Where's your data from? Mine's from Football Outsiders: they discard take-a-knee drives, maybe that's the discrepancy.5th, but true. 20th last year, and 29th this year, 15th in 2016, and 30th in 2015.
I miss Adams threads and will forever hate the idiot trolls who ran him off

Because teams go up and down the field on Dallas. They don't score much, but they move the ball plenty.

And a lack of turnoversBecause teams go up and down the field on Dallas. They don't score much, but they move the ball plenty.
Drives me nuts.We field punts inside the 10 yard line. Not sure why but we do.
That's what I've been saying. Bend don't break give you a long fieldBecause teams go up and down the field on Dallas. They don't score much, but they move the ball plenty.

Fortunately our offense can move the ball pretty well
