the only changes I made were.......

no TO on offense.
and on D i got rid of Thomas, James, Keith davis, and Henry as starters(3 of the 4 were horrible this year anyways). Get a FA/draft DE, MLB, and Safety.

why the heck would anyone want to get rid of Bradie James? The guy had his best season in the league and along with Ware and Ratliff was the cornerstone of the defense.

Absolutely no question. If Jerry is really committed to winning, he MUST make a serious attempt to sign Ray Lewis. MUST.

Well, if Williams remains here he's the starter at SS.

Also, I think Ellis is gone.

TO will be the story of the off-season. I expect that Jerry wants him back but given how his contract was structured, there will be a conversation about this among Jerry and the coaching staff.

Oh yeah. Barber is the starter. When healthy he's a far better back than Choice.

No.

That sort of stuff is how we got here. Jerry must make a serious attempt to close his wallet and stop taking opportunities from young players.

ill explain...........

No TO because I think he is a cancer, who is all about himself.
No Bradie James because he is dumb as a box of rocks.( i admit he was a good player though)
No Keith davis because he just sucks.(good attitude though)
No Zach Thomas because he doesnt fit in the 3-4 Defense.
No Canty because he will ask for a lot of money IMO and wont e worth it.
No Pacman because he is a headcase who cant be coached up, and is a distraction.

Out of curiosity, what makes you qualified to pass this judgment on him? Do you know him personally? He makes the calls on our defense so forgive me if I don't buy this at all.

Wow. Lame.

Bradie had a very good year and is one of the few guys on the team who is a legitimate leader.

Davis is one of the best ST players in the league and, although mediocre as a starter, is a solid backup at safety. Oh yeah, also a solid leader.

Every player cannot be the greatest in the league at their position. These two guys are solid and, if we do well next year, both will be a big part of it.

Bradie James played pretty damn well this season. He's not a great cover LB, but he plays the run well. He'll be back. Getting rid of our two starting ILB would be a disaster. We all know Zack isn't coming back. That alone ensures James will be back. T.O. will most likely be back. I've been a big supporter of him since we signed him, but he's starting to wear thin on me with his antics. Still, too much $ tied up in him to let him go. Pacman? Doesn't matter to me one way or another. Don't really like him on the team, but he is cheap and he does have talent, as long as he can stay out of trouble. Doesn't do us much good if he's suspended. I'd like to see what he can do after going thru an entire off-season and training camp. Not sure about RW # 38. Everyone *****es about him, but he does play the run very well. We missed him in that area this season. Still, I believe all the fan outrage and media coverage regarding his pass coverage skills will most likely end his days in Dallas. Tank Johnson is gone and I'm glad. He did nothing for us. Between Spears and Canty, I'd rather keep Spears. He played well this year. Canty, not so much. A big drop-off in his play even through he was playing on a one year contract. Not good.

We need to draft and or sign one or two safetys, a couple of offensive linemen, a true NT, an ILB, maybe another DL if we lose Spears, Canty or both (Spears actually is still under contract this coming season). We absolutely have to draft a backup QB to groom, and we have to sign a veteran QB (Chris Sims?). I have no idea why everyone is posting that we need to draft a WR. We don't need another WR. The ONLY way we should even consider it is if a very talented WR dropped in our laps in the middle to late rounds. Not a need.
