We already know what Rush is, time to put Lance out there at least it will be fun to watch the turnovers and exciting plays he will make.

Cowboys fans, how do you feel if he threw a lot of INT's in a game, just want to know. I mean it can't get much worse than this, I think i'm just asking this from Jerry's perspective, not sure what's holding coach Jerry back

I get the feeling the Cowboys have already decided to move on from Lance at the end of the year. And if so, what is the point in playing him?

If he is really awful it only makes Jerry look bad for wasting a 4th round pick on him. If he plays well then he looks like an idiot for giving Dak $60 million then letting Lance sign somewhere else in free agency next year. And if you think about it, Jerry has to feel like Rush has to play better or else he looks dumb for not having acquired a more capable backup QB in the offseason.

It is almost impossible how many way this season has gone off the rails for Dallas. Everything that could go wrong appears to be going wrong.

The result will be the same, but I'd rather see them start Trey Lance at this point.

I just saw this on Yahoo sports.

"Excluding the final two minutes of each half, Rush threw just nine passes beyond the sticks upon first review; less than 50% were completions, and one resulted in an interception."

This is the problem with the Cowboys offense. Way too many passes for little yardage. No real threat to go downfield. Teams play tight coverage underneath and let the Cowboys offense shut itself down.

Unreal. So we are going to lose regardless, but let’s go with losing with a guy we know has hit his ceiling vs losing while also maybe helping a young guy develop while taking meaningful snaps, who is more athletic, and who might also have a future in the league, and that you thought highly enough of to invest a 4th round pick in.

Laughable how this GM cannot make a good decision no matter what he does. I mean a broken clock is right twice a day lol… JJ is just broken

It will be useful for the front office to see a QB with mobility. Even if he can't even throw the ball 5 yards to just see a QB making several plays with their legs might finally ram home that they need to draft a QB with wheels.

Of the current top 10 quarterbacks in the league only Goff has limited mobility (on the premise that Stafford is outside).

Prescott is toast. His main use will be to effectively act as a Homer Simpson type QB next season. As in get paid to get smashed to bits whilst the team resets and either sits a rookie QB or trades in the 2025 draft to pick up a QB early doors in the 2026 draft.

Although apparently it's impossible to draft a quarterback...even though Daniels and Nix already look like franchise quarterbacks with Williams having plenty of scope, Maye making a decent start and the exciting pair of McCarthy and Penix still to play next season. All from the same draft. Who knew?! But hey let's just stick with Dak and his well rested legs at this point.

Plus they refuse to stick with the run and don't have any threat in the backfield so teams can leave their safeties deep to force them throw underneath.

The offensive line makes it hard to throw it downfield as well. The entire thing is a mess.
