He's on injured reserve and from what I remember had a 3-4 month recovery period ahead of him. Even if they could bring him back from IR, there's no way they would add him instead of Collins.

While there has been some talk about Romo being released after the present season, I think Romo is good here until the end of the 2017 season and then all bets are off.

But for next season I could see Moore being the 3rd QB and the Cowboys not spending a draft pick on one come April.
