He was 1st for a long time. Problem he's got to get past Jeff Gordon and he owns road race courses.

2nd would be a great finish for that car.

A great 3rd place finish today. I was hoping a crew would find Roger or Troy and get in a quick word after the race. At least we can read Roger's blog and his description of the exciting day. The announcers also said that Troy and Roger each brought their families to a race for the first time this year. I'll bet there is a huge celebration tonight.

On a side note, Terry Labonte the brother of Bobby Labonte, who was a top driver for years at Joe Gibbs racing. Funny thing is, Bobby Labonte is a huge Dallas Cowboys fan, and an outspoken one at that,which makes me believe Terry probably is too.

Also, the current 96 car that is owned by Aikman/Staubach, guess who supplies their engines?

That's right, Joe Gibbs Racing.

Congrats to HOF Racing on a great run. Just what Gibbs needs, another set of Cowboys breathing down his neck. Maybe if they would get their engines from someone other than Gibbs they would do better on the Super Speedways.
