I have to say this game does matter down the line, I want Falcons to lose, and im sure all Cowboys fans want this to happen.

I don't really care about this game, as I think we can beat ATL, play alot of containment on D, and the game is our's

true, but he's not rare, I can think of a better corner ;)

How many CBs have 4 INT's thus far this season and are shutting down WR's to boot.

I bet the list is pretty small.

I agree. I don't think there's another "good" team in the league we match up better defensively to than the Falcons. Bring 'em on.

I want the Stealers to die!!! I'd pull for Satan against them, hell, I might even pull for Washington against them.

I am not sure where this turned into a Newman vs Hall debate.

You merely made a comment on Hall, and I commented back that he is playing well. You keep referring to Newman.

But since you want to talk about Newman, I'll half-way bite. Its an impressive streak. Damn impressive. But that means little to me. I care about how he plays this season while this season is being played out. I dont care about previous seasons. Newman could end the season with 30 INTS, 0 TDs given up, 100 total yards given up, and it would not matter to me the following season...what would matter is how he is performing the following season.

That being said, Hall is playing damn impressive this season.

I realize saying that has some sting to it because everyone feels Newman was snubbed from the Pro Bowl (though, I dunno how you can actually get snubbed from it...but thats another arguement).

And Hall is becoming talked about in the same amount as Champ, while Terence supposedly is being "robbed" of his media attention.

In the last few yers, I've come to feel that if a corner isn't loud, flashy,, and as self-promoting as a prima donna wide receiver, he is going to be overlooked. Corners are as much psychological mirror images of wideouts as they are positional. In the post-Primetime era, I guess they're also expected to show off...by the fans, media, and perhaps even players.

Tnew's lack of chest-thumping, off the field as well as on, will always put him at a 'disadvantage' vis a vis the Deangelo Hall types. Even the Rashean Mathis level will inevitably get more attention in many quarters.

I'll take Newman tho.

Any day of the week.

You don't live in the Atlanta area, do you?

I find Michael Vick to be very fine entertainment, and not worth the extreme hate that some Cowboys fans pile on him.

Also, last I looked, Atlanta is winning, 21-17.

Why do you assume he is hating on the Falcons? I took his post as concern for an eventual playoff machup for the cowboys.

What EXTREME hate have you seen posted here? I've never seen any. I've seen people poke fun at him...and its deserved. Herpes happen when you don't wrap it guys. I too find Vick to be very entertaining, but because the Falcons are in the NFC, and the Steelers are not, I hope they lose as well.

Hall gives up a TD.

And Vintage's tired act of being the crusader that keeps all of us raging homers in check is incredibly old.
