I don't know what anyone else thinks they saw, but there was no clear recovery in any of the replays that I saw. There was plenty of circumstantial evidence to suggest an Eagles recovery, but that's not what they're looking for. They're looking for someone to actually grab the ball. That didn't happen until he walked out of the pile. If there was a bad call by the refs on that play it was calling the runner down by contact.
