Stephen: I think you're going to see 3 DTs on the field quite a bit

And it really worked, too. </sarcasm>
Actually, I believe that our 5-2 snaps were more effective than our 4-3 snaps. But that's not necessarily saying much. Should be better with a better fifth defender (Williams) on the field and hopefully a better MLB (maybe two better LBs if Overshown plays much).

Jerry fought Parcells on the move, they did play it for 8 years because that is the players they had after Parcells left. They have not run a 3-4 since 2012. They ran it for 8 years total.
Since Jay Ratliff. The last pro-bowl caliber DT to play in Dallas...until now.

They are going to fire Eberflus and hire a 3-4 guy. This is basically a step in that direction
I don't believe they're going fire Flus, Jerry said as much, he's not going to subject theta to a 4th different DC

I don't hate the idea. Seattle ran a big strongside DE for years and it worked well. I would assume Osa would fill that role unless they're really planning on running 5-man fronts. All of a sudden the DL has a diverse variety of combinations to fit specific situations. I'm having my doubts that Eberflus can capitalize, but maybe he proves me wrong.

Eberflus is a really good DC, They are not going to fire him, he will get at the least one season

My concern is they force Osa on the field since they paid him

Cowboys EVP Stephen Jones on @1053thefan while talking about the trade for DT Quinnen Williams: "Everybody was totally on board with making the trade. Obviously it came at a price. But we think that Quinnen is not only going to be a big time help to our defense this year but for years to come."

On how quickly the deal came together: "(The Jets) had always known, going back to our previous trade with Micah (Parsons), that we had interest in Quinnen. They knew we were aware. The finality (of those trades) come together quickly, but usually it's because you've been visiting and throwing things around for days."

Jones when asked how often we're going to see all three DTs (Williams, Kenny Clark, Osa Odighizuwa) on the field at the same time: "I think you're gonna see it quite a bit."

So he thinks we will have to endure a lot of goal line stands and 3rds and very short.

OK. I am looking forward to it!

GO JONESES!!!!

We better. Basically, Osa might be better as the strongside DE.

Does any other team is sports history around the entire globe allow the son of the owner have a regular interview spot on their local sports media?

Any team? Ever? On the entire planet?
North Korea............son of "rocket man" weekly TV show.

Good company for Stephen to keep if you ask me.

hogwash. maybe every now and then, but no way as a base. Just trying to keep a certain team captian from wigging about being demoted.

I wonder if he has told the head coach yet ....... or if will here it on 1053thefan

Oh geez. Thank you.coach

Another marketing statement selling the fans.on the moves they made.

Now just shut up. SHUT UP

Unfortunately we dont have defensive mastermind in D coord and more holes in the D than correct , so this will improve the D , but not make the D into top 5 ,Our Offense is also stinking of late , so it has to be seen, in my opinion , its a bit too late for this season.

Sure let's tell the enemies we play our strategy!!

None of this matters if they're still getting gashed or if our LB play isn't much better
What you don’t think they know the strategy
