Stephen Jones on Tony Romo: "I know Tony and I know he only gets better with age in terms of what kind of quarterback he’s going to be."

Major disappointment, Stephen never mentioned the secret sauce at all this year...

Jesse Williams (born November 2, 1990), nicknamed "Tha Monstar",[1] is an Australiandefensive tackle for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). Williams played college football for the University of Alabama, where he was a starter on the defensive line for the 2011 and 2012 national championship teams. The Seattle Seahawks chose him in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL Draft.

Seattle Seahawks[edit]

Williams signed his initial rookie contract with Seattle on May 10, 2013.[26] On August 26, 2013, Williams was placed on the injured reserve list for the 2013 season as the result of a knee injury that sidelined him for the entirety of his rookie season with Seattle.[27] Through week 16 of the regular season, Williams rehabbed his knee in his native Australia where he utilized Orthokine to help with joint pain associated with his knee injury.[28] Although he did not play a down during the season due to his injury, Williams became the first native Australian to win a Super Bowl ring after Seattle's victory in Super Bowl XLVIII.[29]

On August 1, 2014, Williams was placed on the injured reserve list for the 2014 season as the result of a second knee injury.[30][31]

So, Matt Johnson and his Hammies now equals a two-time National Champion and a knee injury requiring surgery?

Stretched PAPER thin here.

That is the real glaring LOL moment.

Knee injuries, broken legs etc,, real injuries, are just the same as mysterious soft tissue concerns that honestly has even medical professionals baffled.

If someone said they think he will be a real talent and just needs to get healthy, would you demand credentials? No way.

No because we have circumstantial evidence that this team views him as talented. That post was the first i've ever heard it said that the guy was worse than a JAG. So I was inquiring into his source/reasoning for saying so.

Everything you post is toilet paper.

Not everything.
He's not like a few other posters here who truly are garbage-in-hand.

I will defend Stash as a good poster--he's not misery curdled, he just doesn't pull punches.

Agree. Like a lot of us he has had his fill of under achieving, and who can blame him.

Smith was drafted at the top part of round two...Johnson picked in the 4th round.

The point is that if the team believes the player has the ability it shouldn't cast him aside until it is forced to. That was the case with Beriault, and it probably will end up being the case with Johnson. But if it feels he can play and play well in this league, then you give him every chance to do it before giving up.

It gets different if you have to put him on the 53 to keep him or if it's too costly to keep him, but if it means stashing a low-cost player on IR to keep giving him chances, I don't see what it hurts.

Reality? Is that what you call it?

Not surprised you 'stopped reading'.

Anything not propping up Jerry's Titanic is too much for some to bear.

You are bearing the truth....right?

Banner integrity before one denigrates that...you are alright, until you hold court for a single comment.

yea, and there never was a disagreement on that...but coming from a good deal lower in a draft usually means more, not less is required in proving starting points of talent.

If they want to put Johnson on IR, I don't see the big deal. It's not our money nor does in any way does it limit the Cowboys roster.

The only real negative I can see is that his salary still counts against the cap.

He'll probably get cut as soon as he's cleared to practice. They can cut him off IR too.
