The ONLY reason to go cheap in FA is so that you can get the salary cap under control and get some room in the future to sign notable FA's. Depending on FA to fill your roster is dumb. But a quality FA a year to fill a major hole if you can afford it works nicely.

I'm glad Stephen feels this way it is way too much, Norman is good but should he be the highest paid CB in the NFL is his talent that great to be in a class with Revis? in my view no. I don't mind signing guys to high dollar contracts but I don't think Norman play is that of an elite player. Revis in his 1st 4 year is head and shoulders above Norman

Not the way the jones boys are doing it. They keep extended over paid, older players just to get under the cap every year. It will never end that way.
