Go back and research what Troy was questioning
Go back and research the actual "offense"... ie, that someone who had never been a quarterback was somehow irrational to assert that a former NFL quarterback was playing the Monday morning QB role.
THAT was the criticism. And of course, then, it only followed that the ones who were being critical agreed with Troy.
Shallow.
Disagree with Stephen, agree with Troy, all of that is fine... but don't bring the irrelevant, silly stuff to the conversation.
... but think I will side with a 3 time SB champ on the state of the cowboys and call there games and is not blind over Junior who never played little league. H--- even Steve Wonder himself sees the problem. He was stating everything that is mentioned on this board and on all of sports shows (radio and TV), so Troy must be stupid like all of us.
Have you ever known of a time in your life when the majority opinion was loud and seemingly universal (at least to those in the majority), but.... wrong? Ever? In other words, does popularity of a given opinion on a given issue assure us with complete or almost complete confidence that it is the right opinion to hold?
Then, have you ever known of a time in your life when the media actually looked to stoke controversy? When they seemed to revel in it? When it even started to become slightly... just slightly... suspicious that they were actually more committed to increasing exposures/listeners than anything else? Ever?
Because your statement seems to indicate answers that seem more than a bit irrational.
