That was it lol. He said Pickens and Jerry caught up last night and Pickens is "fired up" about being back in Dallas. He made it sound like Pickens was more grateful than anything else.

I can't blame Pickens. Despite all those worried about him rebelling against the tag, knowing that you are going to make at least $28 million for a year in the NFL has to be somewhat comforting. It doesn't mean he doesn't want a long-term deal, just that he knows he's in great shape for the next year.

He will make 28m fully guaranteed and will have nice stats with Dak. He will hit the market again at age 26 and get a deal that Dallas can’t afford.
