Stephen tried to warn the Rams

I get what you’re saying. But in our republic we are choosing this. A couple years ago we chose to give them breaks and pay for it by cutting service for others.

Oddly, many voted to cut their own services. Thats giving imo. But I get what you’re saying.
Rich people rule the world. Always have, always will.

People who go against the system end up dead. JFK, Lincoln, Ron Brown, Vince Foster. The list is long.

Remember that old couple that declared they didn't have to pay taxes according to the constitution? Well, what happened to them? Suddenly you never heard from them again.

We choose to give them breaks because people will always vote for whichever politician promises them the most numnums.

Stafford was offered a bigger contract and took less to stay w/ the Rams. That's what a real man does.
Yes, and/or one that could use some postseason success on his resume instead of banking another 20 million when you’ve already made several hundred million.

How come Stafford wasn’t worried about the “brotherhood?” It’s what these agent fill their heads with.

Stafford is a HOFer anyway, but a second SB makes him a lock. One SB win would probably put Prescott in, but he always choose a few extra bucks.

In a way I don’t blame him, since it took until year ten for the FO to sign a significant FA. Why give them back money that they aren’t going to spend on payroll?

Cowboys are a $10 billion mom and pop operation. You can fake it and get some winning seasons, but need some shrewd talent these days in pro sports at your GM spot. We're all paying the price. We've had assistant coaches promoted in the NFL. Have we ever had an assistant GM promoted?

Have we ever had an assistant GM promoted?
Not certain about pre-February 1989 but the Jerry Jones era has never had an assistant general manager. It is not an equivalent position or title, but Vice President of Player Personnel is a lower rung on the front office ladder. Will McClay was promoted into that slot in 2017 and hit a 100-foot thick glass ceiling.

tl:dr. Short answer is nope.

I’m talking about the fact they won. Tore it down. Rebuilt. And we’re 4 points away from another SB appearance. And are favourites to win it all again this year.

While the cowboys under the amazing guidance of Stephen Jones, haven’t made it to past the divisional round and are on the receiving end of one of the worst beatings in the history of the sport with home field.

That’s what I’m talking about.
Well the rams didnt tear anything down , they continued to be competitive.
They have been close to a SB for 3 years now.

We all know how incompetent the jones boys have been, but I saw a change this year, they are listening to shotty more, and getting better results.

I said already , if the jones boys or other teams try to do it like the rams , it wont turn out as well and could be a disaster. YOu have to be really smart to do what the rams have been doing.
I am pretty sure if jones boys said hey lets do that too ! , it would not turn out well.
I remember Carr and even worse roy williams trade lol, they could not do it,

So let’s not try because it may not work? Lol.

Sounds like a bold strategy.

Let’s keep doing what we are doing.

They're focused on winning Lombardis? Pfft, amateur hour alert!!! Don't they know that the Forbes Bowl is the real Super Bowl?
Cowboys collecting plenty of those trophies!

Rams are a bad example. They have the best GM in the sport, and also the best head coach.

Yes, that’s debatable but don’t tell me about number of SBs or whatever. Those two are far from done, and they provide the most hope for any fan base in the immediate future.

I was hoping they’d each get burned out and quit, then eventually reunite here, but yeah that was never realistic.
