Well Im basing my judgement on what I Dallas doing with the Safety position. So far they've been trying to fill that position with projects from small schools. Wilcox is gifted athletically and seems to be cut from the same cloth as all the other safeties we drafted. Thats why I always thought that we should have picked Barron over Mo. This system needs a true ball hawking safety badly not projects.

Actually, I wanted Barron also. When they traded up though I was a bit upset, as I thought they were going after Barron, but why trade up for him. But then they picked Mo. I was ok with that after I thought about it. But still gave up too much. I preferred they would not have traded.

Now hindsight to now, the thought was right. But I can't complain, as no one knew, at the time it was a wait and see thing.
Mo may be back to finish out his contract next year, but it may be in a supporting role.

I kinda thought that Mo was going to be a bust. I didn't know much about him so I watched videos and just didn't see why they were rating him as the 2nd coming to Deion. He didn't have elite speed and his INTs were from inferior competition.

Before the draft I thought Mark Barron was in the Cowboys target and watched films on him as well. Reminded me as a Darren Woodson with pretty good cover skills. Thus I still wished we would have drafted him.

I didn't really know anything about Sterling, but I do remember a lot of Zoners asking week after week last season why we didn't sign him and bring him in. Anyone know why the Boys passed on him for so long despite the obvious need? It took three months before they brought him back.

Good to see Sterling Moore find a vital role with this team.. I felt like the Cowboys shouldn't have cut him last year when our secondary was looking like a joke.

Glad to see Dallas get this one right and bring him back with the team.

I can tell you just from living in Philly and seeing how many times double moves got him gamblers are always picking balls or getting toasted see Janoris Jenkins vs us last week I would much rather have someone like Oscan who will get 2-3 picks this year and give up 5 or less tds

I wouldn't mind having someone who is only 33 and has 51 INT's, to go along with 2 rings as a 3rd or 4th CB on our team.

He sure does, if Claiborne is out for the year, he's steps in as our number 3, and let's hope Patmon is ready.

It's so refreshing to see young talented players come into a system and flourish. This guy has a real future in Dallas. When he stepped into an elevated role last night, the defense actually got better. His awareness and style reminds me of a Kevin Smith type out there. Very dangerous because his fundamentals are solidly coupled with great area awareness.

Much credit should go the the coordinators for the new level of consistency that's on display early this year. Marinelli really has that defense counting on each other and utilizing an element of trust previously undiscovered. Guys on the defense appear to be foregoing personal for team. Man. That gets me so amped!

Love that Sterling Moore!!!

Yep. He played better than the 50-Million $ Man. I tell ya, BCarr is always 10-yards away from the receiver when he catches the ball. OScan and Moore are in their man's grill almost every time.

I would give him a deal like Scandrick's now. He should be a member of this team going forward without question marks.

I'm not feeling our safeties. I want my safeties to be in the picture every time the ball is thrown to a receiver helping the DB defend the pass. They never are. If that ball goes over 20 yards, there should be 2 defenders in the picture.

I'd love to see Asante Samuel get a shot. That guy jumps routes like it's nobody's business. I'd even slide Moore to FS. Imagine Scan and Samuel both jumping routes. It does wonders!!!! Either way, proud of everyone.

A cornerback cannot just slide back to safety, for every Rod Woodson and Charles Woodson there are a dozen failed alan ball experiments.
