I thought Carr looked disinterested or lost today.

I am so tired of massively overpaid Cowboys turning out to be busts.

Hopefully, he'll be the last in that line and gone after the season.

I disagree.sHere's a few things on Moore. He plays the ball in the air very well. He plays physical. In reality, he's not much better than Claiborne. He's clearly the weakest of the corners which is why he was targeted like he was today.

But I like Moore. I like him on this team. I think he's a solid corner but i'm not going to go overboard on him. Is he playing better than Claiborne? Yes. But in reality he's not much better. Claiborne has more potential but Moore seems to be playing up to his while Claiborne doesn't. More was decent today. He got worked by Randle today but that happens in this league.

I didn't think that. He got beat a few times by a promising rookie. Carr is one of the hardest working players on this team. Beckham is going to be a problem for years to come. He's a rookie but his potential is CRAZY. We got a taste of that today. He may have took him for granted or be ailing with a injury but i'd never question his work ethic.

he did look disinterested today...

he does his finest work against smaller receivers ...but today he struggled..

nothing against odell though...

I know you defend Claiborne every time but Moore is FAR better than Claiborne in many ways. Morris has been ranked nearly dead last out of 100 corners hes like 97 Moore is closer to 15. if you look objectively you will see Moore also attacks runners near the los like a safety, Claiborne like Mike Jenkins before him is soft and fragile. Claiborne has been given every opportunity to keep his starting job as a top 10 draft pick but as far as Im concerned he was the ufa and Moore was drafted 6 over all. can live with the pick much easier like that.

I'll say this, for a guy who was undrafted just 3 years ago, bounced between three teams, covering all corner spots and safety, he's very impressive. I'm happy to have him here.

I think they stayed away from scandrick today. I almost thought he was injured until I saw him walk up blitzes.

Carr had no business covering Beckam, Beckam was out quicking him all day.

I just don't see it to be honest. I do agree that Moore is better than Claiborne. I stated that in my post you quoted. I saw Sterling get tested and got beat a few times today just like Claiborne would've. But what sets him a part from Clai is he plays the ball in the air and gets deflections. I don't think Claiborne could've made that deflection Moore did in the red zone today.

I thought it was interesting they went with Moore on Randle. I don't know Maranelli's reasoning and i'm sure he had a good one but to me I would think Carr would take on their best receiver in Randle while Scandrick would take the more quicker Beckham Jr.

The Cowboys haven't moved their CBs. So it was the gnats who made the matchups. I do wonder if Carr would be better on the right side which is where he played so well at KC.

I understand that. There have been times this year where the Cowboys allow their corners to follow certain match ups though. I thought it was odd they didn't today. Scandrick is usually all over the field.

what do you think?

that guy is pretty impressive..

either way you slice and dice it..he has great instincts.

so glad heath did not kill him on that hit.

heath was trying to hit the receiver but nailed moore instead..so glad he got up.

carr in my opinion had an off day...he usually dominates small receivers..he struggled today.

odell is good though.

Scandrick is by far the best CB on the team.

I think he absolutely is better than Carr & Mo. Carr can't handle slants and Mo is just afterthought now.

Im glad to see we have new players (w/o huge $$ contracts) stepping up when needed.
Jerry and Steven should be asking Carr for a pay cut, because he ain't earning what he's getting paid.

Scandrick is the best inside DB in the league. I love the confidence Moore plays with and Carr is steady. If Carr doesn't get his hands on a receiver coming out of a break, he most likely is in chase mode.

why does many on this can't give praise to one player without besmirching another? Without an effective pass rush our DBs are playing good.
