I thought he had a couple of great break ups, but overall I thought he was average. I think Oscan is our best CB, but really it should be the 50 million dollar man, but he's a major disappointment.

Lesson learned. Don't go cheap at cornerback.

Moore plays the ball consistently better than any CB we've had here for a long time. If he hasn't been beaten badly by the WR, there's a pretty good chance he's going to time the arrival of the pass and get his hand(s) on it. That skill alone will keep him in the league.

Yesterday was not his best game but not terrible. And no, Scandrick is clearly the best overall CB on the team.

Scandrick is arguably the best player on the defense. The defense has been more solid since he's came back from suspension. But Moore has been almost as solid as he has been. And has really made it tough for other teams top WRs to beat the Cowboys. The WRs by and large have been covered against Dallas this year.

People seem to be forgetting that the Cowboys weren't really getting much pressure all day. So the defense is basically playing man coverage on the outside, not getting pressure from the d line, and playing a bend but don't break defense, what do you expect to happen?

The Cowboys don't want to get beat deep, so they keep the play in front of them, make the tackle right away, and force teams to be very effieicnt all the way down the field.

Eventually you're able to get off the field with a combination of good tackling, an offensive miscue (penalty, drop, etc) and that's why this defense has been effective.

I think he's good and will get better. I didn't think that was his best game. Scandrick and Carr are better at this point.

Moore is always around the receiver. He gives up a lot of plays despite being in good position, but he doesn't give up YAC. He does seem to have good instincts, but does not finish plays all the time.

Carr is a player who lacks suddenness, and is lost playing off coverage. He needs to play up on the line and beat up whoever is across from him. He plays this week against a guy in Pierre Garcon who he dominated in Dallas last year, but got pummeled by in DC.

Scandrick has worked himself into being a very solid player who is now finishing plays. He used to be very much like Moore in that he would be in the neighborhood, but not finish the play. Now, he is making deflections and actually intercepting passes from time to time.

These guys don't get a lot of help from the front four, but overall, have done a nice job of keeping plays in front of them.

I understand that. There have been times this year where the Cowboys allow their corners to follow certain match ups though. I thought it was odd they didn't today. Scandrick is usually all over the field.

Scandrick moves to the slot receiver. Most difficult to play.

He's very good, but as long as Scandrick is still here, he isnt the best on the team.
