I've only watched this show for a few minutes a couple of times I don't care much for it either, Shannon Sharpe was hired to play the role of Stephen A Smith when it comes to the Cowboys
Sharpe really doesn't like the Cowboys though. He isn't acting

I dont have a problem with Steve Smith. Hes less offended by the Cowboys than he is Skip lol.

One thing I will say is that we don't have to "hope" thier wr 3 or 4 isnt that good. This is strength on strength imho.

GB is loaded at WR
Jordy*****(wont play)
Adams
Cobb
Monty WR/RB
Thats 4 devastating play makers, but only 3 or 2.5 we will face because I expect Monty to be hobbled.

The thing is between
Mo
Carr
Scandrick
Brown
Jones
Wilcox
Church

We have it covered. I know how people feel about PFF but at the same time I DISAGREE with us being ranked 26th in pass defense. We are better than that number indicates. If our pass rush continues at its current trajectory and we have discipline keeping Arod from running outside the pocket we will beat the brakes off these guys.

You'd think SSSr. would have studied the Cowboys defense at least one week this season.

Did he just say when Cowboys go nickle they lose a blitzer out of their base defense? He doesn't know the Cowboys.

One of the great little WRs in league history.
No he isn't. He isn't even great. Putting up numbers mostly meaningless does not equal great. This isn't surprising coming from you. You think everybody or everything is great.

A 5'9" WR who put up over 14,000 yards receiving, made 5 Probowls, was All Pro multiple times...

9th most yards in NFL history.

Shortest WR in the Top 25 WRs in NFL history by yardage.

3rd round pick.

I said he was one of the greatest small WR of all time. I DARE YOU TO PROVE ME WRONG.

Please illuminate us with your list of Small (lets say under 5'10") WRs you think had better careers.

That's great for him. He isn't great, he just put up numbers like countless WRs since 2000 have. There was never a game a I watched where I was like they gotta key on Steve Smith. Never. The guy had more than 10 in only 1 season. That's not great.

Couple of questions:

You still haven't provided me your list of small WRs that were better than Steve Smith. Care to share?

Do you have ANY recollection of him earlier in his career we had led the NFL in receiving (over 100 receptions and 1500 yards) or other seasons where he averaged over 100 yards per game? He was awesome.

In many ways, his play back then looked a lot like Antonio Brown's performance more recently -- although I'm pretty sure you don't think Brown is a very good player either -- maybe because he is a small WR as well.

Well I don't need to prove anything to you. Who are you? I also don't need to list small WRs better than Smith if I don't think Smith is a great WR. He had a nice career put up some numbers but very little impact. You think he's great I don't we agree to disagree.

Ok. I'm guessing you also feel Jason Witten isn't a great TE either since he put up great numbers but (so far) has had very little impact. By impact I assume you mean in big games that mattered (ie playoffs).

Yeah, he's real tough while wearing his helmet, shoulder pads, etc.

He played 16 years in the NFL. And was one of the toughest SOB's to ever play the position. Hes like 5'8" and 180 lbs and he was a bulldog. He never gave an inch to anyone. For a guy posting on a message board to question his toughness is the height of hilarity.

Can't argue Steve smith is one of the best ever but I still can't stand him. Always annoyed me.
