I'm ok with this (Jones even said it at halftime too, that we were playing vanilla) but that doesnt excuse the lousy tackling and mediocre run defense

Last season the Broncos complained about the Cowboys game planning them in a preseason loss. Well, this season the Cowboys were a little basic in their defensive packages.

What does that mean, well not a lot of blitzes or press coverage. The reason is because defensive coordinator Brian Stewart got some e-mails from opposing offensive coordinators saying he broke a code of conduct for the preseason.

"I talked to Stew and last year we got after those guys and blitzed them a lot," linebacker Bradie James said. "He said that he got some E-mail from some offensive coordinators saying this must be you're first time being an defensive coordinator because you broke the etiquette of just playing vanilla. We did a lot of base stuff. I would have loved to really get after them. But we played what was called."

When you dont play all out you dont play all out. Tackling included. Tackling has as much to do with intensity as it does technique. Call me after week 1 when the Browns so called great offense gets destroyed.

I think the tackling wasnt as bad last night. i really think this team is just tired, they have done alot of traveling and those practices on wed and thursday probably fatigued them.

it looked ridiculously basic last night. I think that is why wade said in the press conference that he would like to come after them more.

Houston is going to get a dose, cause I think wade is going to tell stew not to worry about it. the team needs a little confidence on Defense.

As long as those dirtbags dont go low this week and injure one of our players I am not all concerned.

This is absolutely true. Last night I was dreaming that a cat was laying across my chest up near my neck while I slept. So I started scratching his back. I woke up and my pillow was on my chest and I was scratching the pillow.

I have no idea why that is relevant, just wanted to share something stupid I was doing. Doesn't beat one that happened to my brother when we were kids. He dreamed he was in a box car traveling across the country. He went to the door and was peeing. He woke up standing on his bed, peeing on his pillow.

ok...if that was the case...then why did our 1st team offense not produce a play over 10 yards?

Let me guess. Because they are soft, dumb, over rated, unmotivated, scared, overweight, under fed, thinking about who they will vote for, worrying if Jessica was at the game, out of gum, and worried about snow in Denver.

I did that one time but it was the wall and there was a LOT of tequila involved.
