Still can't get over how they pissed away a 4th round pick for Mingo

From what I can remember every time Mingo was targeted, the ball was way overthrown or way under thrown.
Or he couldn't get separation.

What did you expect out of him? He came in midseason and had a back up Qb throwing to him. Alls I can hope is Mingo becomes a solid 3, but next year will give us the best indication if the trade is good or not. So far it looks bad.
Carolina was a dumpster fire and Mingo was thrown right in to the middle of it. .. he showed some flashes as a rookie. Traded to us midway through his 2nd season and basically has to start over right at the most crucial time of the developmental phase. It usually takes 3 years for a WR to come into his own. This off season and coming year should be when we see Mingo become a legit NFL wr if he is to become one. I'm hoping he can become that #3...and with the emphasis on running the ball Mingo can have an important role with his ability to block in the run game and become a target in the redzone.

Time will tell

Yea, but did you know they liked him as a prospect two years ago and had a high grade on him???

Crazy that they've traded 2 4ths for Trey Lance and Mingo.
At the rate Mingo was going, could have gotten him for like a 6th rounder this offseason.
He was on his way to being cut this year and thus could have been had for zero draft picks :banghead:

homers are not known to be terribly well football educated
I've only had a lifetime growing up in a coaching family. Any idiot can see that Mingo can catch the ball and his blocking ability should contribute. You should shut your ignorant mouth.

need more cheese with your whine?
clearly your environment taught you little

The Cowboys are projected to have 10 picks . 4 of them comp picks for losing FA. What will losing players like Pollard Armstrong Fowler & Biadasz get Dallas ? Surely at least one will be higher than a 5th rounder .

To me the draft strategy should be 3 O players Sampson RB. Savion Williams WR McCord QB

The rest of the picks should stock the defense .
Maybe Jerry was thinking with a number of comp picks it softens the loss of trading the 4 for Mingo . A full camp with the starting QB should help Mingo .
Cowboys are expected to get 4 comp picks, three in the 5th and one in the 6th.

I never understand how Dallas never gets higher than a deck of cards with 5’ & 6’s when it comes to comps but thank you for the run down of what Dallas is getting . Any chance those 5’s are all in a row ?

Since Dallas his it’s own 5 and 6 round pick any chance of bundling double 5’s and maybe a 6 or a combo to get back into round 4 Mingo slot with these extra comp picks

You can trade back a few spots from 12 and do much better than a 4th rounder.

fingers crossed, but he looked like the worst part of the dumpster fire. that's the concerning part.

I was very critical of the Mingo trade, but I'm not going to lie...I got optimistic after watching these routes.
