I was thinking this, but the 100-yard rusher mark is a poor statistic. Most teams don't use a single back, so they won't get 100 yards anyway. Despite not having 1 rusher with 100, between Jones and Duckett they had a good running game going.

I agree. Two guys for 150yds > 1 guy for 100yds.

The D has nothing to be proud of today. The middle of the field D played awful.

Jones: 23 for 92 yards 2 tds
Ducket: 9 for 60 1tds

So that means we gave up 32 carries for 152 yards and 3tds (4.75ypc)

Yep that leaves me pumped about the defense

Lots of teams use two backs and still get a 100-yard rusher -- or two. Whether our opponents have used one back or two, no back has rushed for 100 yards against us this season. Not many teams can say that.

Yeah the no 100 yarder streak is intact, but that was horrendous run D we showed today. The Lions haven't been able to rush against anybody, but we made them look like the best rushing team around. I'm glad we won because I was there and couldn't bear to see those idiot Lions fans gloat if we had lost. But I am clearly disappointed in the overall defensive effort. No sacks against a swiss cheese O line? Unable to stop the rush against a team that has no running game against anyone else? I hope this was just one of those crazy games you can't explain and not a true indicator of what this defense is about.
