This will have to be the game where we start strong. Can't play catch up.

looking back, the teams of the 90's had an extremely high score rate on their first possession. I think it is hard to underestimate how this contributed to the lethality of that offense. Teams got away from their game plans so early against those Cowboys.

This team clearly doesn't have the advantage of those quick starts.

I think the Cowboys should continue to use two backs. But, I would like to see the Barberian in there on the first series of every game so we can get more hot starts. Does the pass catching ability our rookie FB showed us this week make it more likely we could start games with JuJo on the bench?

Perhaps the emphasis on getting off the 1st qtr TD schneid, rather than taking what the other team was giving, led Romo & Garrett to force some things.

You can look at it two ways... maybe more

1. Using the 1st qtr (or most of first half) wearing down teams that leads to scoring in bunches in 2nd half

2. Not being real effective in 1st qtr(or most of first half) is wasting precious time and opportunity that will cost us at end of game when we dont have big 2nd half.
