He seems pretty darn solid, maybe even good so far. Just a little different learning curve.:D

He's playing pretty damn well right now! Our DBs have to hold on to those picks!

Anyone - cough*theogt*cough - still think Carpenter can't play 3-4 OLB at a high level?

Good, c'mon, qb pressures, two defensed passes, 4 tackles in a half! pretty damn good!

he's had a great 1st half...with good coaching in the right scheme, he will be a good player

I totally agree. And the best part is he's fresh, having been inactive for 3/4 of the season...

It's funny how the players with the least exposure to Zimmer seem to play well, then once he's coached them for awhile they start to decline.

The only exception being Ware, and who knows how good he'd be with a real DCoord.

I'm going to have to ask this.... how much 3-4 compared to nickel have the 'Boys been playing in the first half? I have had to have divided attentions up until now.

I preached the patient approach with developing our QB.....

I preached the patient approach with Carpenter....

It's alot like house training puppies....stay the course through the whining and it'll be alright.

17 games into the season he decides to show up. He is playing out of this world right now though.
