Stink just said on The Herd that he loves Romo and that he is a magician back in the pocket. Said that he is running for his life because our o line stinks because we ask them to do what we can't do. Criticized for going 3 wide, and not using the size of the o line, as it is the only strength of the o line, and not running the football!

he's right. our oline is brutal, especially since losing columbo: just terrible in the running game especially.

Our O-Line is nothing more than average when they're at their best and by the end of the year with this group they're pretty much spent and Romo is always running for his life.

It's why O-Line depth is absolutely one of the most important needs this coming offseason.

I don't know how anyone can listen to Cowherd...

I have only heard his promo's during the Irvin show and he sounds so pompous and annoying.

Agreed.

I'd do whatever it took to turn the 2010 draft picks into two quality offensive linemen for the future.

The 2009 draft strategy of 'quantity over quality' doesn't look to be paying off too well.

Right on so far! Sadly, we haven't exactly hit any home runs drafting o line prospects in this decade either.

He's right in the sense that our OL is ill suited to do what they're asked to do, but wrong in the sense that running is the answer. They're not a consistent run blocking OL either, they're just terrible all around.

It doesn't help that they all got hurt. The staff really likes what it has in Brewster which is why they were hesitant to put him on IR.

Mark also said on espn we won't make the playoffs fwiw. As to our o-line just because they're big doesn't mean they're good. Everybody in this league has big o-linemen. but I agree with Mark that they aren't used correctly just like our runningbacks. Coach Tecmo at his finest.

Frankly I think that our conditioning of the O line is what makes them fall off late in the year. No team plays their backups much at all unless they have lots of blowouts-so that is not really a concern unless you have injuries. I think the cardio work on the O line is faulty.

Square tool head, tool gel haircut, tool goatee, and he does soap operas.

Exactly why they struggle against quick pass rushers. We can hold our own against bigger, stronger, less agile guys - but teams that bring speed off the edge or inside usually give us fits.
