since the steelers figured they would never win another SB playing fair, they had to steal one. how pathetic.
They didn't steal anything!Pittsburgh made the plays when they had to.Seattle blew too many opportunities.Get over it!ReturnToGlory said:since the steelers figured they would never win another SB playing fair, they had to steal one. how pathetic.

YOU are the PATHETIC one. Get over it, the Steelers won and no matter what crap you come up with, they will be Super Bowl XL champs. Until you prove they paid the refs, keep you idiotic theories to yourself.ReturnToGlory said:since the steelers figured they would never win another SB playing fair, they had to steal one. how pathetic.
Pretty good.Wolverine said:I would say more like the refs bein the Stealers 12th man on the field caused the Hawks to blow opportunities. Any time the Hawks started to get something goin the refs were there to stop it.
What bites is that these refs will not even have to answer to the media for how they won the game for the Stealers. Or even get fined.
When they do such a crappy job in a game there needs to be fines or maybe just fire them.
I do not think people watched the Super Bowl sayin......I sure hope we get to see the refs give the Stealers the game.
He was directly responsible, he threw two outrageous picks in the 4th qtr.vicjagger said:The refs were no more responsible for this win than Neil O'Donnell was for the Cowboy's victory in SB XXX.
I can see your point, but this is not about the Cowboys so I don't consider it whining.Alexander said:I wonder how long this whining is going to continue.

It is not about one call, so I don't consider it whining.
And it is MSNBC, FOX, ESPN, PTI, Round the Horn, the Associated Press, ...EVERYONE ! is discussing it, once again, not whining.
You sound like the Steeler fans I have had to listen to.
The list of plays and calls that were affected is long, some are OK with that, while others are not.
Your choice to read it or not.Alexander said:I am not going to deny that this was perhaps the worst officiated big game--ever--but enough already.
Nothing is going to be done. The NFL is standing behind this crew and supporting their calls. This will not change the outcome of the game, nor will it create some sweeping reform of the way things are done.
So all the bellyaching and moaning is more tiresome than anything else.

I was really hoping that the Seahawks would win, but I didn't think they could beat Pittsburgh.
So after seeing how bad the Steelers played, and realizing that the Seahawks were the best team that day, it is disturbing to see what had happened.
If this happened to the Cowboys, would you feel any different ? Or not.
Doomsday101 said:If it happened in favor of the cowboys would you be making the same claims? Did Butch Johnson really catch the ball for the TD against Denver in the SB? Or was that a fix? When Dallas played Pitt in SB XXX was Jay Novachecks TD was it an illegal pick play or was the fix on by the refs? There are many instances in almost every game where calls come into question.
Bach said:There are questionable calls in every game, but not to the extent as was seen Sunday where there were many and primarily on one team and primarily on key plays.
I'm not saying it is a conspiracy, but it definitely looks odd.
