Zeke's going to miss the next 5 games. We'll be out of the playoff race by then.
Not a chance.
I don't even know how you can entertain that thought.
I believe that because the Falcons defense has been soft on the run all season and the secondary has been susceptible to big plays. The way teams game plan for Elliott vs. without Elliott is night and day. Running the ball with a brusier who also can break a long one all game changes how defenders play a team and how a DC calls a game. Zeke might have gone for 150 on the Falcons meaning playaction is more effective at holding lineman (read Clayborne) and LBs.
Just my thoughts on it Catch. Don't think Dallas would have been playing from behind the chains on 2nd and 3rd downs much which would have slowed the pass rush. Also, don't think they would have been behind on the scoreboard so the threat of the run would have still been prevalent.
But...alas, this is all conjecture so...
The roster must continued to be strengthen.{1] Sean Lee's a problem and I'm not sure a defensive general is in this draft.Inactivity by the front office- whether it’s arrogance or incompetence, I’m not sure, but the roster flat out wasn’t good enough going into the season. Not going out and getting better starters at serveral positions is 1 thing, but the sheer lack of depth is showing its ugly face. We need more talent and not niche players who try hard.
This coaching staff is flat out incapable of adjusting. When everyone is healthy and we can implement the game plan the team is as good as anyone. Once something doesn’t go right and adjustments need to be made the wheels fall off. That’s bad coaching it’s hard to overcome.
Accountability from players is pretty much non existent. Some of this needs to come from coaching, but the players also need to step and and own their mistakes. On and off the field. The culture of a Jerry Jones owned Cowboys team may never be that of a winning franchise though...
It’s not Goodell, it’s not any other owner, it’s not the refs, it’s not anyone else...The Dallas Cowboys as an organization are the reason for their 5-4 record right now.
At least we're not the Cleveland Browns.
Great examples!Six different team message boards on page one alone, convinced the NFL is rigged against their team.

Great examples!
Of course many fans say generic things like the game Is rigged. Citing little or no examples of exactly how.
For you to confound that with what people here are saying is an odd leap to make. Over and over you mock conspiracy. You act as if that word just came out of nowhere and there has never had been one in history. That word really bothers you. I wonder what’s behind that. I’d bet there are some conspiracies you “know”are real. Maybe a biased liberal press? Of course that’s not outrageous because you believe it.
Fact is, I don’t, and many others DO NOT think there’s an organized conspiracy. We do not think there’s a conspiracy by the league. We don’t think Rodger is after the team. Please read that two more times so you can understand what I’m saying.
What I do and I think many others do think is there is a bias. There’s an inherent bias that goes with being the most hated team in the league. Refs are part human and they have emotions and bias. Not unlike you with your bias against the mere possibility that the refs have screwed the Cowboys in a disproportionate manner that other teams simply have not suffered.
Let’s go over the rare and phantom calls lately and you can provide their equal to make your point. Since they’re so widely discussed it’ll be easy for you.
1. The Dez catch. This was at the near end of the game and very likely concluded the outcome of the game. The Nfl would scramble to try to make the rule less clear to save face. Then change it again a year later.
2. Ironically, Cobb had a clear drop in the first half that lead to points. The reviews lasted about 20 seconds as opposed to Dez’s 3 minute review. Lots of time to think and consider. Bias could possibly come into the decision as opposed to the reaction call of the on field ref 4 ft. From the play.
3. Mathews drills Romo in the back with the crown of his helmet. Very very last. Hard to believe it was missed. No call. No first and goal from the 1 with Murray. Field goal.
4. No holds all game which isn’t rare for one of the 3 darling teams of the nfl.
5. Last year the ultra rare(nearly unheard of by football experts) was the illegal substitution penalty. Cost the team 40 yards and at least 3 points on what would be a 3 point loss. Also, valuable momentum which can’t be measured. Except people that know football know what it is.
6. No holds again on Green Bay despite the last, and most key play of the game, Irving being blatantly held tackled and nearly choked. Literally. This no call lead to the winning points.
7. This years Green Bay they call roughing on our player for leading with the crown of his helmet and not making any contact with Erin. Simply the intent, it appears, was enough.
8. We’ve seen at least 4 hits to Dak’s Head that were blatant and not called. A judgement call that’s hard to miss these days. You’d think.
9. Two receivers who were defenseless were blind sided directly in front of the ref. No call.
9. This year a the streak of 6 games with one hold which was meaningless and on a receiver. All while our all pro line has been called for 18 holds during the same streak. Several brought back long runs by Zeke.
Holds can be called every play. Except they aren’t being called on the other team. At all for 6 games.
They were soft on Sunday too. Morris almost had 5yards a carry but almost every time we threw Chaz Green got Dak killed or under pressure.
One thing that probably didn't help, even though it's obvious why we did it, was all of Morris' carries went to the right. I get not wanting to rely on running behind Green, but by never running to that side his defender didn't even have to worry about a running play - just tee off on the QB. That actually made Green's job harder, which is the last thing he needed.
I hope we mix it up more this week. Predictability is never a good thing in football.
99% agree with this, just 1% goes to I think there is legit arguments to the refs part but I don't think it would of changed any of the outcomes and players/coaches have NO ONE to blame for that but themselves.Inactivity by the front office- whether it’s arrogance or incompetence, I’m not sure, but the roster flat out wasn’t good enough going into the season.
