What do you all think about their strategy in terms of increased oil production to lower the price of crude - and discourage development in other parts of the world?

You ever feel like we just need to annex that country altogether and get rid of their corrupt elite that oppresses their people and have no human rights?

The only companies suffering are energy companies who gouged us when the economy tanked in 2008. This is helping nearly every other industry. I don't mind it.

Also, I believe it is US production that has caused the rise in supply.

We have a, "special" relationship with Saudi Arabia. They are the money in the ME...only one protecting Israel outside of US, etc. They "supply" alot of what we "fight" but have a great relationship with themo_O They enable the MIC for our sake in the ME. We "work" on strategy with them...

It's not just a supply-side thing. We are running up the dollar on purpose too. Higher dollar lowers commodities priced in dollars.
It's screwing Russia and Venezuela 100x more than the US anyway. Fine with me on both counts....though I think those in power actually like Venezuela.
Also, with nearly their entire economies based on crude oil, it certainly isn't helping several middle eastern nations--including Saudi.

This a relatively short-term thing anyway. Maybe 12-18 months
