Pretty boring..

Toughest loss in years.

Personal foul penalties a problem.

Fourth and one for the Giants...Jacobs, shouldn't have run outside. Ware made a great play. Agreed with going for it on 4th down there.

Romo broke containment...some miscommunication...if Romo was in the pocket, he doesn't throw the ball as well...out of the pocket most accurate of all the guys they've seen, he runs and throws better than anyone they've seen.

Pass to Crayton...Corner blitz, McQuarters stopped..they were careful because Romo was getting away so easily...he stopped because he had missed Romo earlier.

Said he stands by what he said last week...A reporter is a reporter, had nothing to do with the reporter being a female. No need to apologize. If anyone is holding their breath waiting for an apology, they should call a paramedic.

Haven't read that anywhere. Seems to be accurate no matter where he's throwing.

The problem is that the reporter was quoting him directly. Sorry, but Strahan you came across looking like a fool.

He went on at length about how they didn't feel Romo was as good in the pocket...he even made a comment about the possibility that his lack of height might be part of it.

And he was a jerk about the media thing. Once again, it was the media's fault for taking his comments...word for word...and repeating them.

more softballs from Joe and MORE JABS at teammates.

sounds like a hurtin' dope :)

regarding his espn meltdown... "i came back to my locker after my workout and you would have thought i was announcing my retirement"

he needs to be traded/cut for the Gints to improve. he will undermine any new coaches authority for as long as he plays there.

Strahan sounds like an idiot. He and Tiki, once darlings of the universe, are really working overtime to cement their blowhard status. His stunt with the chick who was quoting him was despicable, and he was berating her in a futile attempt to intimidate a woman. Big man, there.

BTW.....greatest recap ever.

I guess I could understand his comments if the majority of his passes were rollouts and such, but Romo seems quite the pocket passer to me. A side step here and there, and the balls out. But hey, I'm no expert.

And yeah he was a jerk. I hate it when people say they're misquoted, but the comments in question were off a transcript of what was said. If you don't want to be misquoted, then stop inserting your foot in your mouth when you talk.

Not gonna thank you for your recap, Juke... to put it simply, you overstepped yourself; next thing you know, Trick will be making sig pics...

And I'll suddenly become DIPLOMATIC...

Just kidding, great read... I figured I'd get that one in before CrazyCowboy does... :D

Let's take up a collection to extend his contract then. I'm in for $5

So there.

And WV was lucky to beat Rutgers.

She called him out for something he said and he got pissed. He made a mistake and got called out. I'm not saying what she did was right, but Strahan was definitely wrong at first for calling Burress a quitter on the radio and then acting like he didn't say it and jumping down her throat.

Strahan just wasn't man enough to admit he was wrong. Just like Coughlin wasn't man enough to admit he was wrong for jumping all over Kiwanuka after he stopped before slamming Young to the ground. It was an honest mistake and could have made it.

That 4th and 1 call to run outside thrilled me because as soon as I saw him move outside I knew Ware had him. If Jacobs had just run up the middle, might have made it.

I don't know, Strahan sounds like he's making excuses though.

Thanks for the recap. Any other Giants scheduled to be on NY Radio today?

I'm so happy they lost. It was thick in garbage about how they deserved to play for a national championship. They never deserved it, before or after the first loss.

Evidently, the play for Jacobs was called for an inside run, he broke it to the outside on his own.

I'll keep my ear to the radio today.

I dont think anyone can stress enough the importance of the Pass Rush not knowing where the QB is on every play.

Romo dodged several tacklers and even broke free a couple of times, so what happens, when the game is on the line, you put doubt into the defenders mind and he ends up thinking too much.

I think that was the play where the ball went through the defenders hand. I meant to re-watch that, as I think the ball was just outside of his reach as oppose to going through his hands.
