Only if they are playing for a low Jone’s discount. Then they will turn around and pay Dak $30 million a year. And we wonder why it’s 23 plus years and counting.

God forbid you pay your franchise QB whos shown a penchant for winning games, not turning the ball over and actually shows up when he’s made the playoffs, which he did 2/3 years.

This doesn't help Earl Thomas' position, but I'm afraid he'll hold out until it does.

Dallas needs to make a fair offer worthy of his elite talents, put a time frame on it, then tell him to take it or leave it.
They'll make an honest offer...

No excuses for us to walk out of March without signing one:

Earl Thomas
Landon Collins
Tyran Mathieu
Lamarcus Joyner
Tre Boston
Adrian Amos
Tishaun Gipson
Ha Ha Clinton Dix
Eric Weddle
Kenny Vaccaro
Jonathan Cyprien
Glover Quin
Darien Stewart
Kareem Jackson

PERFECT year to sign a good safety for at least 3 years. When the market is saturated and you can get a better deal. If they don't sign one of these quality guys it will be a shame.

Gotta love geniuses like you that Don't want to pay Dak.

So we finally have come to the time where the Cowboys have gotten the cap to where they are being smart and we have lots of money. The team is now a perennial playoff team on the brink of being a contender. Our 3rd year QB has won rookie of the year, made two pro bowls, taken us to the playoffs 2 out of 3 years and has had 3 winning season.

He's among the NFL leaders in wins, 4th quarter comebacks and clutch QB play since he has been in the NFL. He also had some big time adversity, has played through it, and has come out better because of it.

And what is your genius plan a this key juncture? LOL

To NOT pay Dak and start over at the QB position?

Talk about the dumbest idea you could possibly come up with?

Cant blame the Cowboys because guy like you are too blind to see how good a QB Dak is.

Yea he’s shown he is elite. People throw the term “franchise QB” around very easily these days. He isn’t worth 30 million a year and when they grossly over pay him with a salary cap we will get to hear the excuses of why they can’t sign any impact players.

A number of these guys have agreed to new deals while ET is still out there. Either they didn't see him as OMG, Earl Thomas or his demands are out of whack for this point of his career.
