Despite missing two consecutive days of practice, Jaguars defensive tackle Marcus Stroud told ESPN's Ed Werder that he would start the season opener against Dallas.
Stroud sprained his right ankle in practice Wednesday and has been in a protective boot since. He's played in every game in his five-year career.
Galloway on now saying that reports are they don't know how many snaps he'll take and by talking to media members, no way he is even close to 90%. He said he may not even be 75%.
If he is not more then 80%, then he will actually be worse then starting a 100% backup. If he was in a boot two days ago, there is no way he is anywhere near normal. Just might be him spouting off, too.
