Sturm concerns on Quinn potential cap hit

You make the cap hits low the first two years and you are basically screwed after that.

In fairness he probably played out of position in two of those years and the other was his rookie season.

There’s no denying he was one of the better CBs in football last year.

He is not worth $15 million a season based on his current body of work in my opinion.

Will be interesting to see how the FO values him. If they offer him an extension before the season or do they make him play it out.

They lump him in just because he is a good player and his contract is winding down, but that doesn’t mean people are putting the same importance on signing him as they would Lawrence or Zeke for example.

He is a good player, no doubt about that, but you dont pay good players $15 million a season...……..that is all-pro, top 5 money.

B. Jones is not to that level yet in my opinion.

They seem to have no regard for their dead cap this year either. It's over 36 million now. So yeah, they do appear to be cleaning house and ready to tank.

They are looking for a QB.
