What's everybody's opinion on Jeff Heath? We couldn't stand him from what I remember but didn't he have two picks against the Bucs? Potential answer??

He's a backup to Wilcox and Church. That should tell you all you need to know. He's a good special teams player.

Good article, but one minor point. Not sure if it's a typo or not, but "One of the basic tenants of defensive football..." should read "One of the basic tenets of defensive football..."

Sorry, one of my pet peeves.

No need to apologize, that's really dumb. Tenants? Really? SMH.

I like him more than most. He gets an undeservedly bad rap from Brian Broaddus, and fans won't forgive him for being a backup who got exposed by Calvin Johnson 2-3 years ago.

He's a solid ST player, and a good athlete at the S position. He seems to have a lot of plays where he's right there, just to watch the play get made right in front of him. But he's a talented dude and a hard worker. I like him better than Wilcox, who seems to have taken a major step back this season for some reason.

That said, he's a rotational player, at best, on defense for us.

I don't like nor dislike Heath. I believe he is as good an option at safety as anyone else on the roster but I would like to see the Cowboys prioritize (as I have for the past two years) the safety position in the draft.
