This one looks like Crawford creates a 2nd lane or Wilson to escape through. If he doesn't try to run around 2 guys to the inside, then Wilson has to go to the gap where McClain is waiting.
Hardy turned the corner which widened that lane. Either way it was McClain's job to spy, not bite on pump fakes.
The lane was created by Crawford. If he stays over there Wilson goes the other way. McClain was spying, but it's impossible for one guy to cover 2 gaps like that. Especially against someone like Wilson.
I don't disagree with that. My issue is 55's explosiveness seems gone. Which is beyond vital for that spot and for any justification of playing him in front of Hitchens.
They just got beat by a better athlete, on that play.

That was a big-time play by Wilson, too.
For a guy who's generally highly overrated, that was well-done.
And they kept the clock rolling?!
