He certainly looks heavier, that might be the reason
It's pretty common knowledge that RBs, LBs, DBs, almost all position players, but certainly all skill players, should drop 2-3 pounds per year as they get closer to 28-30. Certainly, a player who's been injured or on the shelf for other reasons should step on the field lighter, not heavier, so they can retain quickness. Unless you are an underweight guy out of college still growing into his manhood, gaining weight is almost always stupid and a failure for a veteran.

It happened quite a few times late in the Seattle game. It is what it is....
That doesn't sound like Ro at all.
I don't disagree with that. My issue is 55's explosiveness seems gone. Which is beyond vital for that spot and for any justification of playing him in front of Hitchens.
Surely you are not implying McClain is real life smart.
I've heard a rumor that he got up to 280 at some point this season.
McClain is interesting when they use that 3 man DL formation with him as a DT/LB, but I didn't see much of that in the Seattle game and only about 8 snaps of it in the Giants game.
That was a big-time play by Wilson, too.
For a guy who's generally highly overrated, that was well-done.
I'm really not sure what anyone wanted McClain to do on that play.
You were the one talking about him playing at 280 and that's why they like that 3 man D-line.
McClain isn't 280. And from what I can tell from practice shots he looks to be in good shape.
He's coming back from a knee injury and has played only a few games. People need to relax. Also this defense with McClain being a central part of it has only allowed 26 points in two weeks.
It is pretty clear that no statistic correlates more to winning in football than the turnover ratio
Don't paint it better than it was. That was designed one look then run Russell, not improvised. McClain blew it.
